Creating a development standard

With 19 brands and more than 4,200 properties in over 79 countries, Marriott is one of world’s largest hotel and resort enterprises.

To extend their reach even further in foreign territories, Marriott needed a pitch tool to help communicate how their brand could meet the needs and trends in emerging world markets, and accommodate cultural expectations.

Perfect pitch

Propellor helped Marriott extend their brand and develop a pitch format that could be used as a template for future market expansion. The project highlighted a profile of current trends and opportunities, new hotel features created to perfectly meet market needs, and thoughtful design inspired from the history and culture of the expansion country.

The pitch concept was well received by Marriott, and was translated and used in presentations to three new markets: India, China, and Brazil.
